As we begin our protests against the Redding Business Merchants "Handouts Don't Help" campaign !!

Also an e-mail list will be established for those interested in POSITIVE SOLUTIONS to the homeless problem in Redding.

With Families and Children the fastest growing homeless population and 1 in 4 homeless veterans the "Handouts Don't Help" campaign

in our opinion is an indirect violation of their civil rights, a demeaning attack and war against the poor and homeless,

as well as unacceptable and against the directions contained in the Bible.

Redding Homeless Campaign to Stop Giving Handouts Lacks Business Support

After over 1 hour of traveling around the Redding area looking for the "Handouts
Don't Help" posters on any business, I finally found one on the door of a Churn
Creek business. However, after shooting some pictures and video and letting the
manager of the business know that I would soon be sharing his business and his
position with the citizens of Redding and about 5,000 of my personal friends,
followers, local relatives and others....he admitted the Handouts group just came
through the center handing out the posters to businesses and one of his girls put
it up on the door without clearing it with him.  Seems, while some local businesses
are going along with the organizations position on homeless giving....they are
pretty quick to jump ship, as this smart manager did when he gladly turned over
the poster to me. 

My advice, if you do not agree with this heavy-handed approach to helping the
homeless or you feel like I do, someone that has given for years to the local mission
and food banks, who no matter how much they get, can't seem to ever get the job
done.  Take a camera out with you when you shop.  Take a photo of every business
proudly displaying one of these signs and let them know we will help them promote
their position internet wide._citizenactivist

Redding Citizens:  Please join with me in a General Boycott of each
non-profit (I will identify them all as I get up to speed with this issue)
and ALL Greater Redding Businesses displaying the new Anti-Panhandling
posters in their windows.  Not another dime. Your comments are welcome here.

Christians must interact with their fellow humans and have fellowship with the poor and homeless, and those given the gr...ace to see realize that giving a sandwich or an article of much needed clothing, or money is an opportunity to minister to those hurting and lost on a much deeper spiritual level.

Those that wish to regulate the care of the homeless and leave it to the "pros" do not have those eyes to see, or for that matter ears to hear what God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit has said to his body of believers called "The Church"

And reconsider giving cash donations to those charities, especially those which suggest government regulations and permits in order to care for the homeless, and those that have no method of community transparency and accountability.

Love your neighbor, let no law or regulation be formed against this. Let no one criminalize and regulate the practicing of your faith and and religion.See More
